Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

Friday night we had a family night at home. Daniel discovered that the kid movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was on instant play on Netflix. So we made an event out of it.

Evelyn seems to be very interested in airplanes lately. We live near the Concord airport and planes fly over our house all the time. So last week, Daniel found out that Charlotte had a viewing area that looked directly at one of the runways. We made a trip during the evening and Evelyn had a blast.

Last weekend, we went to Black Mountain for my cousin Erin's college graduation party. My aunt Susan and uncle Jim have a beautiful home and Evelyn enjoyed exploring.

While my parents were in town last week, we had dinner at my parents motorcoach.

Big Girl Hair

So last week Evelyn and I went to the store to buy some hair ties. I was thinking that her hair is almost ready for ponytails and pigtails.

We came home with lots of hair ties and started playing. When ever she wears them (which only last about 2 minutes) I call her a big girl...hoping that soon she will want to keep them in her hair for the day.

Evelyn has finally discovered the art of consuming a cupcake and she even doesn't mind getting a little dirty to do it!

Bubbles

One of Evelyn's favorite thing to do is play with bubbles. I'm so glad is spring time, we can enjoy the outdoors and blow bubbles. This year Evelyn is old enought to make bubbles on her own, so I bought this nifty bubble thing for toddlers. It helps with the mess and it works pretty good.
