9 Months

Evelyn was 9 months yesterday and today we went to the doctor for her check-up. I thought we were going to experience no pain today, but I was wrong. Evelyn got her finger pricked as well as a flu shot....no fun.

Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz
Height: 27 1/2 in
Head Circumference: 43 cm

Allot has happened in the last month. Evelyn is now crawling, pulling up on furniture, and even "cruising" some furniture. She is talking all time and is actualing saying some words we understand. Dada was her first word (which is typical), but she has also said Duck, Hi, Hey, and even said Mama twice on Saturday (I was so happy when she said Mama).

The last couple of months have been a joy to watch Evelyn grow and do new things. It's so wonderful that I am able to say at home each and every day. I'm looking forward to the next several months as Evelyn learns to walk, talk more, etc.

Pool Time at Emerald Isle

Last week our family went to Emerald Isle with my parents. So over the next couple of days I will be posting pictures from our trip.

Also, Evelyn was 9 months yesterday. We will be going to the doctor today and hope to post a 9 month update later this evening.

Pulling up on Everything!

Last weekend, Evelyn figured out how to go from a sitting postion to a standing position. Here are some pictures of her pulling up on everything.

Now that Evelyn can crawl really well, one of her favorite thing to do is crawl to the window and look outside.

Music Table

Over the weekend, Evelyn's great grandparent's (Jones) visited and we all went to babies r us. While we were there, we decided to buy a new toy. Boy did we make a good choice.

Labor Day Vacation

Last week we went to BJ's for our usual (diapers, formula, etc.) When we got home will doing some chores around the house, Evelyn entertained herself in the diaper box.

She smiled from the second she was put in the box.
