The Perkins family had a very busy weekend. Grandma Jones (Gram) came from Greensboro for the weekend to help out while daddy (Daniel) was in the recording studio. Dad left bright and early before 7am on Friday to go to the recording studio while Evelyn and I stayed in bed. Grandma, Evelyn and I went to Concord Mills mall Friday afternoon........Evelyn's first of many shopping adventures. After 6 hours of walking the entire mall, shopping for non-maternity clothes for me, trying to find small enough clothes for Evelyn, and trying to find a bathroom to change Evelyn's diaper (we had to walk almost half the mall to find one)...........we headed home around 6:30 for dinner. Luckly I had put dinner in the crock pot that morning.
Saturday we went shopping again.........but this time to Northlake Mall. This trip was a little bit shorter since we were tired from the day before. We had so much fun in the baby Gap. I can't wait until she can wear some of the clothes in that store. I know they grow up fast and you shouldn't wish they get bigger, but I'm ready for her to be a little bit bigger so I can buy some cute clothes. We ended the day with a bath (she hates baths a this point). When do babies begin to like baths???? I'm ready for that stage.
Sunday.....church, lunch, nap, the second star trek movie, nap, hitch hikers guide to the galaxy, and bed time.
What an exhausting weekend. I wonder what we will do next weekend........stay tune.
Lunch out with Nana!
