Kick & Play

Evelyn and I were on our own this past weekend (first time ever and I have to admit, I was a little scared). Daniel had a gig in the Durham area. Friday night we hung out at the house and Evelyn proceeded to spit-up an entire 6 ounce bottle all over me and her. The best part....she laughed afterwards.

Saturday we hung out with Lori and Jonas all day. We went to this really great children's consignment sale at a church on the south side of town and then went to a consignment shop in Matthews. While there I bought Evelyn a bounce seat. Has to be the best purchase we have made for Evelyn so far. She just loves this thing. Its called a Kick and Play. Where her feet are on the seat, are some buttons and when she kicks just right, lights and noises go off. Its so cool and she is just happy as a clam in it. See pics below.

Sunday, after church Courtney came over to have lunch. It was the first time Evelyn and her have seen each other since she was born. We had a wonderful lunch and Evelyn blabbed the whole time. Best of all....Courtney offered to babysit sometime so Daniel and I could go on a date.
Its so great to have such wonderful friends. The weekend would have been long and stressfull if it weren't for my friends hanging out with Evelyn and I. Thank you so much Lori and Courtney.
